Knickerbocker Sailing Association Racing Program

KSA aims to facilitate opportunities for involvement in yacht racing to the gay community. There are a wealth of options available within the area and beyond and KSA wants to open up these opportunities to all members.

Our prime racing event is the Stonewall Sails regatta - please refer to the Stonewall Sails page for full details.

Member's yacht Sans Culottes has an active racing program each year mostly in the Long Island Sound series but also extending East to Maine. Members interested in racing are encouraged to contact the owner and get involved.

We also plan to develop team racing events with other clubs in our area and beyond. If you are already a member of a club which supports these events please contact us and we can arrange a reciprocal program.

Race Clinics are a popular event which can be practical or theory and can be hosted at a variety of venues with in-house or guest speakers. Again if you can provide content for these events please contact us..

One design racing is highly competitive and can develop excellent racing and boat handling skills. There are many fleets in the area and we would like to develop a team to race within a fleet.
